Klaus Flugge Prize

Hot on the heels of its Read for Empathy listing, we are delighted to announce that our wonderful picture book, Grandpa Kuma by Michelle Maiden, has been long listed for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2025. The prize is awarded annually to the most promising and exciting newcomer to children’s book illustration; the winning illustrator receives a cheque for £5,000. The shortlist will be announced on 15 May 2025 and the winner will be announced at an award ceremony on 10 September 2025. To see the full longlist click on the link below
