The inaugural Empathy Day Festival runs from Monday 2nd June, culminating with Empathy Day on Thursday 12th June and, as a Empathy Builder, we’re delighted to be part of it. We’re embracing the theme ‘Jump Into Someone Else’s Story’ and would love to know whose story you’ll be jumping into. Our picture book, Grandpa Kuma by Michelle Maiden, is part of the Empathy Collection this year and we’re sure there are lots of older carers out there who can identify with the love between Miko and Kuma which somehow transcends barriers of age and culture.
